Catalog description

Students enhance sequential critical thinking, prioritization, and effective decision-making for safe and effective patient care using the principles of pharmacology and pathophysiology as applied to clinical nursing practice. Special consideration is given to the nursing role in developing a comprehensive approach to the clinical application of pharmacologic concepts and principles to professional nursing practice. Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Program.
