Students continue the study of the chromatic elements of Western music, followed by an introduction to Twentieth-Century music. Special emphasis is made on the analysis of tonal and post-tonal harmony and structures through score study, composition projects, and class performances. Prerequisite: MUSI 2222 and MUSI 2224 with a C or better; or by placement exam.
