This course is the second half of the algebra sequence. The algebra sequence will include Group and Ring theory. Specific topics include groups, group actions, the Sylow Theorems, rings, modules, fields, field extensions, and an introduction to Galois Theory. Prerequisite: MATH 6335 (Algebra I) or equivalent.
