Complex Variables.

Catalog description

Students explore the foundation of complex variables and analytic functions on the complex plane. Topics may include basic properties of complex-valued functions, such as domain, range, branch cuts, limits, and continuity. These topics are followed by the central property of analyticity and the use of Cauchy's Theorem in evaluating contour integrals. Prerequisite: C or better in Math 2440.
