Catalog description

Students apply advanced concepts in the analysis of functions of real variables, building upon the required undergraduate sequence in analysis for mathematics majors and providing further study for students interested in pursuing graduate work. Topics may include multivariate calculus, normed linear spaces, measure theory, measurable functions, Lebesgue integration, and spaces of integrable functions. Prerequisite: C or better in MATH 4366 , or consent of instructor.
