(SH Prior Course ID: MTH 380); This course is designed to present mathematical topics from a historical perspective. The number systems and computational methods of past cultures and civilizations are discussed, along with the development of number theory and trigonometry. Credit in this course is applicable only toward elementary/middle school teacher certification. Prerequisite: C or better in MATH 1385 .
