Catalog description

Students pursue in-depth study of emerging issues, methodologies, or specialized content areas that align with their research interests but fall outside of the standard curriculum. Under faculty guidance, students design a focused learning experience that addresses timely scholarship relevant to their dissertation work or professional academic development. Prerequisite: Approval of faculty advisor and department chair.
