Catalog description

Students in this course develop a comprehensive and systematic overview of fundamental legal issues in sport. Topics in this course are intended to introduce students to the legal issues that are most critical to the management of sport including liability, gender equity, risk management, tort law, labor law, and collective bargaining. This course is offered in the Spring only. Prerequisite: 45 credit hours.
