Catalog description

Students facilitate an advanced, independent investigation into a topic of personal or professional interest under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Students and faculty (1) collaborate to design a specialized curriculum; (2) engage in a rigorous critique of scholarly literature; (3) conduct original research or execute a significant writing component; and (4) demonstrate mastery of the subject through a final academic project. Credit: 3. Prerequisite: Admission to the Honors College.
