Catalog description

Students use best practices to design and assess community mental health programs from a population health perspective, enhancing accessibility for diverse populations. They will master Mental Health First Aid, for identifying and responding to mental health crises. Students will also practice cognitive behavioral techniques and stress management skills as preventative approaches for mental health. Prerequisite: HLTH 1360 and HLTH 2383 .
