Students explore the history of Latin America. The topics for this course vary from semester to semester among the diplomatic, political, social, and intellectual histories of Mexico, the Caribbean, the Anglo-Spanish borderlands, or South America. Students explore major recent historical interpretations and/or conduct research in primary sources. . Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
