Catalog description

Students examine United States history since 1933. Topics may include the Great Depression, the New Deal, the Cold War, the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, the Feminist Movement, Watergate, the Iranian Hostage crisis, the Reagan era, the end of the Cold War, and the roots of 9/11. Students explore major recent historical interpretations and/or conduct research in primary sources. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
