Catalog description

Students explore weather phenomena and the atmospheric processes that generate them as well the methods used to measure the controlling factors. Topics may include atmospheric thermodynamics, black body radiation, weather instruments, weather forecasting, satellite imagery, Doppler radar, and numerical models. Prerequisite: GEOG 1401 ; MATH 1314 or MATH 1410 ; or permission of instructor.
