Catalog description

Students explore controlled substance analysis using instrumental techniques commonly encountered in accredited forensic laboratories. Topics may include sample processing, presumptive and confirmatory testing, analytical instrumentation, drug class-specific analytical schemes, acceptable methodologies, expert witness testimony, and investigation of clandestine laboratories. Prerequisite: FORS 5117 and FORS 5445 .
