Catalog description

Students examine historical development, fundamental principles, and diverse methodologies of forensic anthropology, a specialized branch of biological anthropology that applies scientific analysis to human remains in legal and investigative contexts. This course will also introduce students to the methods used to construct a biological profile, which includes the estimation of sex, age, population affinity, and stature of human skeletal remains.
