Catalog description

Students examine physical evidence concepts and identification techniques. The course covers pattern recognition across multiple forms of physical evidence, including fingerprints, bloodstains, gunshot residue, tire impressions, footwear impressions, fire investigation, firearms, and digital evidence. Students evaluate the use of electronic databases in pattern evidence comparison. Prerequistie: FORS 3366 .
