Student study financial securities, their valuation techniques, and the markets in which they are traded. In addition, students are provided an overview of portfolio theory and the analytical tools of portfolio management as well as the relationship between risk and return. Includes a survey of current research in investments. Prerequisite: FINC 5310 .
