Catalog description

Students examine the principles of effective environmental safety management systems. Laws and regulations that protect our environment and human health are studied. Topics may include hazard communication (HAZCOM) and hazardous waste operations (HAZWOPER). Students may also examine the roles of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Prerequisite: ETSM 3372 .
