Catalog description

Students are introduced to the principles of control theory with an emphasis on linear control systems. Topics may include open-loop and closed-loop industrial control systems, principles and operation of electrical switching, time and control devices, AC and DC motor controls, servomechanisms, transducers, instrument symbology, and industrial detection systems. Course Equivalents: ITEC 3373 Prerequisite: ETEE 2320 and MATH 1420 or Consent of Instructor.
