Catalog description
Students investigate the foundational theory, techniques, and applications of devices used in the field of healthcare. Course content is delivered in didactic and lab settings and may include the application of anatomy and physiology to the understanding of equipment outputs, safety, and limitations. Topics may include biopotentials, electrodes, transducers, and the varied display outputs of the patient-machine interface. Prerequisite: ETEC 1010 , ETEE 3350 .
