Catalog description

Students learn comprehensive instruction in traditional and CNC machining processes. In this course, students gain hands-on experience with manual lathes, mills, and CNC machine tools, emphasizing precision, tooling selection, process optimization, and measurement. Students learn basic setup and operations to advanced multi-axis machining and introduction to automated toolpath generation. Prerequisite: ETEC 1010 Course Equivalents: ITEC 1366, ETDD 1366 .
