Catalog description

Students explore the processes by which products are brought to the marketplace. Emphasis may be placed on manufacturing, prototyping, patent and trademark procedures, industrial design, problem solving, and decision-making. The course also addresses creating and working in cross-functional teams to develop products for consumer use. Course Equivalents: ITEC 3310 Prerequisite: Sophomore standing, ETDD 1390 or ETDD 1361 .
