Catalog description

Students examine selected works of Old and Middle English literature with some continental works. Topics may include, at various times, works as early as Beowulf (ca. 8th-9th c.) to ones as late as Malory's "Morte D’Arthur" (late 15th c.). Prerequisite: ENGL 1301 , ENGL 1302 , either ENGL 2332 or ENGL 2333 , and 3 hours of 3000 level ENGL.
