Literature of the Restoration and 18th Century: 1660-1800.

Catalog description

Students study the drama, poetry, and prose of the long eighteenth century. Students read the works of writers such as Dryden, Swift, Pope, and Johnson within their cultural contexts. Prerequisite: ENGL 1301 , ENGL 1302 , either ENGL 2332 or ENGL 2333 , and 3 hours of 3000 level ENGL.
