Catalog description

Students survey the English language and its relationship to other Indo-European languages. Students also study the changes in English sounds, morphology, syntax, and lexicon from Anglo-Saxon times to the present. Prerequisite: ENGL 1301 , ENGL 1302 , either ( ENGL 2332 or ENGL 2333 ), and 3 hours of 3000 level ENGL.
