Victorian Literature.

Catalog description

Students examine selected literary works of the Victorian period and the political, social, and economic background of the age. Students will be introduced to different critical approaches to reading Victorian texts and culture. Themes and texts will vary. Prerequisites: ENGL 1301 and ENGL 1302 , either ENGL 2332 or 2333 , and 3 hours of 3000-level ENGL. Prerequisite: ENGL 1301 , ENGL 1302 , either ENGL 2332 or ENGL 2333 , and 3 hours of 3000 level ENGL.
