Catalog description

Students examine the theories and practices of teaching writing and literature in secondary education. Students focus on classroom practices, definition of standards, invention, assignment design, evaluation of student writing, and approaches to teaching young adult literature. Prerequisite: ENGL 1301 , ENGL 1302 , ENGL 3373 and ENGL 2332 or ENGL 2333 .
