Students examine the ethical and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in writing, with a focus on supporting local communities in Texas and fostering their AI literacy. Students collaborate with local organizations to address communication challenges through AI tools, developing technical documentation to meet community needs. The course offers diverse opportunities for engagement with local issues, ensuring meaningful community impact. Topics include ethical considerations such as authorship, bias, and AI's societal implications. Prerequisite: ENGL 3330 .
