Catalog description
Students gain a strong understanding of modern macroeconomics, learning to analyze the drivers of long-run growth and the dynamics of business cycles. They develop skills in evaluating fiscal and monetary policies and their effectiveness in promoting price stability, full employment, and sustainable economic growth. By applying contemporary evidence and real-world examples, students are equipped to critically assess major macroeconomic issues and policy decisions. Prerequisite: ECON 5301 .
