Catalog description
Students gain an understanding of the role of money in the economy and how central banks, financial institutions, and markets influence the money supply, interest rates, and price levels. They develop skills in analyzing U.S. monetary policy, evaluating its effects on economic activity, and applying key theories to understand both domestic and international economic dynamics. Prerequisite: ECON 2300 or ECON 2301 or ECON 2302 .
