Catalog description

Students gain an understanding of the government’s role in the marketplace, exploring topics such as public goods, externalities, taxation, fiscal federalism, and cost-benefit analysis. They learn to evaluate how government actions influence economic outcomes and societal welfare. Prerequisite: ECON 2300 or ECON 2301 or ECON 2302.
