Catalog description

Students explore the required background knowledge, theory, and practical skills pertaining to mobile device forensics. Topics focus on the most widespread operating systems on the mobile market. Students examine mobile device evidence collection, data recovery and analysis techniques and tools, system file recovery, deleted file recovery, and the examination of unallocated space. Prerequisite: DFSC 7350 .
