Catalog description

Students gain a hands-on experience and practical instruction in advanced quantitative methods used in criminology and criminal justice research. Topics may include generalized linear models, multilevel and structural equation modeling, meta-analysis, and other advanced techniques. The course emphasizes developing analytic proficiency through data analysis, model implementation, and interpretation using software such as Stata, SPSS, or R, and effective communication of findings to advance evidence-based research, policy, and practice. Prerequisite: CRIJ 7342 .
