Catalog description

Students participate in supervised experiences in a school counseling setting. Students study the duties and responsibilities of the school counselor at work. Two semesters of this course meets the 160-hour practicum required by TEA for students seeking school counselor certification. COUN 6376 with a grade of B or higher, cannot be taken concurrently. Prerequisite: Acceptance into a counselor education degree program.
