This course will examine the sociocultural characteristics and counseling issues related to the varied cultures in today’s society. Hispanic, African-American, Native American, and Asian American cultures will be examined along with issues related to gender and Gay/Lesbian concerns. Prerequisite: Acceptance into a counselor education degree program.
