Catalog description

Students integrate theory, research, and applied practices to demonstrate mastery of communication concepts. They create a final project or portfolio that applies communication theories to scholarly or practical challenges, preparing them for advanced academic or professional opportunities. Students apply communication principles, engage in critical thinking, make original contributions, and develop professional presentation skills. Prerequisite: 21 hours of COMS graduate courses.
