Selective: Internal Medicine – Nephrology.

Catalog description

Students engage in a 4-week clinical experience under the supervision of nephrologists who manage patients with complex conditions affecting the kidneys. The experience may include an outpatient surgical suite rotation and inpatient admissions and/or consultations in addition to outpatient clinic. Students will obtain comprehensive patient histories, perform physical examinations, and collaborate with supervising physicians to develop differential diagnoses and formulate evidence‑based management plans for a range of nephrological scenarios. Prerequisite: CLIN 7801 .
