Selective: Internal Medicine - Cardiology.

Catalog description

Students engage in a 4-week outpatient internal medicine clinical experience under the supervision of cardiologists who manage patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. The experience may include an outpatient surgical suite rotation and inpatient admissions and/or consultations. Students obtain comprehensive patient histories, perform physical examinations, and collaborate with supervising physicians to develop differential diagnoses and formulate evidence‑based management plans for a range of cardiovascular scenarios. Prerequisite: CLIN 7801 .
