Catalog description
Students train with physicians who provide surgical care for patients with colorectal surgical conditions. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, consultations, and surgical interventions. Students collect data, perform a physical examination, attend operative interventions, and work with their Attending physician(s) to reason through differential diagnoses and generate a surgical plan for management of colorectal disorders. Credit: Variable, maximum 4 hours.
