Catalog description

Students train with ophthalmologists who provide medical and surgical care for patients with ocular disorders. The experience may include outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, consultations, and outpatient surgical interventions. Students engage with patients in the collection of data, to perform a physical examinations, attend surgical procedures when requested, and work with their attending physician to reason through differential diagnoses and generate plans for management of ocular disorders. Credit: 1-4 hours.
