Catalog description

This course examines growth and learning primarily in secondary environments. Major theories of teaching-learning processes are studied. Human development related to education is emphasized. Special attention is paid to diversity in the public school environment. Required field experience in 8-12 public schools. This course is taken as part of the Secondary Methods Block for 7-12 certification. Course Equivalents: CISE 3374 Prerequisite: Admission to Educator Preparation Program and Departmental Approval.
