Learning Theories and Praxis.

Catalog description

Candidates integrate foundational research and current knowledge to present original perspectives on learning theories and curricular design from childhood through adulthood. Topics may include the social context of learning, self-directed, informal, and non-formal learning, critical perspectives on learning theories, including epistemological considerations in learning, as well as cognitive and socio-cognitive development are covered. Prerequisite: Admission to the Curriculum & Instruction Ed.D.
