Catalog description

The chemistry of compounds containing metal ions is discussed. Emphasis in placed on the complexes of transition metals. The electronic configurations of these ions in various bonding environments are considered in interpreting their chemical and physical properties. Prerequisite: CHEM 4367 and CHEM 4448 .
