Students study general principles of inorganic chemistry using a descriptive and practical approach, emphasizing periodic relationships of elements, bonding, reactions and synthesis of inorganic compounds, and acid-base chemistry. Offered Fall and Spring. Prerequisite: A minimum grade of C in CHEM 1411 and CHEM 1412 .
