Catalog description

Students study descriptive chemistry and explore gas laws, equilibria, kinetics, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and oxidation-reduction reactions, supported by a three-hour laboratory. Offered Fall, Spring, and Summer II. Prerequisite laboratory components must be completed as in-person, supervised laboratory experiences, or student must obtain consent of the department. Course Equivalents: CHEM 1312 Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in CHEM 1411 .
