Catalog description

Students explore the dynamic intersection of law and business in today’s fast-moving economy. This course introduces students to the legal principles that shape business decisions and strategies, from the origins of law and the structure of the court system to the complexities of corporate structure and liability to intellectual property. Students examine real-world cases, while also considering ethical and regulatory challenges. Students learn how legal frameworks influence everything from entrepreneurship to corporate governance, and are equipped with the tools to manage risk and make informed business decisions.
