Catalog description

A study of physical and biotic components of the environment, responses of organisms to their environment and each other. The course covers organismal, population, community, and ecosystem ecology. The application of ecological principles via field studies is an integral part of the laboratory. Three-hour laboratory and field work. Fall, Spring. Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in BIOL 1411 and BIOL 1413 or BIOL 1406 and BIOL 1407 .
