Catalog description

Students perform the skills necessary to function as both an EMT Basic and a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). Students practice skills to provide care and transport for critical and emergent patients as part of an emergency medical team. Students will use specific systems that both EMTs and Athletic Trainers employ in the field. This course is required prior to EMS clinical rotations.Co-requisite: ATTR 5321 . Prerequisite: Graduate Standing.
