Students are provided an in-depth study of styles, schools, philosophies, and parallel fields of design from the Industrial Revolution to the present. Emphasis is placed on the development of the profession of graphic design and its relationship to commerce and technology. Prerequisite: ARTS 2386 or ARTS 3385 .
