Catalog description

Students apply knowledge of foundational concepts in studio art, art history, theory, and technology through lectures, readings, and demonstrations. They create immersive, practice-based projects focused on three-dimensional art. Through research and studio production, students analyze and interpret contemporary art practices and evaluate artistic strategies and outcomes. Ultimately, students create original works in 3D or space-based formats that demonstrate an integrated understanding of conceptual, historical, and technical approaches. Co-requisites: ARTS 1315 and ARTS 1313 .
